VIENNA, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Ethel Christine Sager, 75, of Vienna, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born April 13, 1949, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, a daughter to Ronald and Theresa (Pfeifruk) Sager.

Ethel pursued her passion for teaching by obtaining a teaching degree from YSU. Her commitment to education shone through in her interactions with students, colleagues and the community. She was known for her patience, kindness and unwavering dedication to helping her students succeed both academically and personally.

Throughout her years of service as an educator, Ethel positively impacted numerous lives with her mentorship and guidance. Her legacy will continue to live on through the countless individuals she influenced during her time at Lordstown School.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Ethel cherished time spent with her loved ones. She shared a beautiful journey of love and companionship with her husband, Thomas Albert Missory, whom she married on August 10, 1983. Their bond was a true reflection of partnership and mutual respect.

In addition to Thomas; Ethel is survived by her sister, Theresa Santillo. Their memories together will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew Ethel best.

While we mourn the loss of such an incredible individual, we also celebrate the immense impact she had during her time with us. Her passion for teaching and genuine care for others will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Ethel will be laid to rest at Canfield Cemetery.
