How Much Is the Kentucky Derby Purse?

The purse was raised to $5 million for the 150th running. Since 2019, the purse has remained at $3 million.

The winner will receive $3.1 million, second place will receive $1 million, third place will receive $500,000, fourth place will receive $250,000, and fifth place will receive $150,000.
