Charges have been brought against 18-year-old Martin Tullis III in the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Logan Snyder, which took place in November 2024 near the intersection of Regina and Horn avenues in the neighborhood of Lemay, South St. Louis County. According to the St. Louis County Police Department, as reported by KSDK , Tullis has been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree attempted robbery, and armed criminal action. On the evening of November 14, a report of a body found brought police to the 700 block of Horn Avenue, where they discovered Snyder, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the quick response of the officers, the student of Hancock Place School District was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving a community in mourning and the Snyder family launching a GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses, as reported by First Alert 4 . The probable cause statement from the police alleges that Tullis III, along with an accomplice, lured Snyder to the location to rob him at gunpoint. The encounter turned deadly when Snyder was pushed to the ground and shot, subsequently the perpetrators rummaged through his pockets, taking with them some of his belongings before fleeing the scene.
