The NHL Stanley Cup Final is underway! And according to BetOnline, a majority of the United States is cheering on the Colorado Avalanche over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Data was tracked through official fan hashtags in each state, with the primary hashtags for the Avalanche being #GoAvsGo and #FindAWay. The Lightning use #GoBolts and #BeTheThunder.

And following Game 1, which took place on Wednesday, June 15, we're sure public sway has changed more so in the Avs' favor. After all, the Avalanche did beat the Lightning 4-3. Game 2 takes place on Saturday, June 18.
