Baltimore (27-40) will begin a three-game home series against the Angels (33-34) on Friday at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland. First pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m. EDT and can be watched on Apple TV+. Former Vol Christian Moore will make his Major League Baseball debut for Los Angeles. He will become the tenth former Tennessee baseball player to appear in MLB during the Tony Vitello era (2018-present), joining Garrett Crochet (2020), Chase Silseth (2022), Ben Joyce (2023), Andre Lipcius (2023), Trey Lipscomb (2024), Jordan Beck (2024), Seth Halvorsen (2024), Chase Dollander (2025) and Blade Tidwell (2025). The Angels' roster lists Moore with jersey No. 4. He was selected by the Angels in the first round (No. 8 overall) of the 2024 MLB draft. Moore played at Tennessee from 2022-24 and appeared in 186 games, totaling 61 home runs, 160 RBIs and 179 runs. He appeared in 72 games for the Vols in 2024, recording a .375 batting average, 34 home runs, 74 RBIs, 83 runs and 38 walks during Tennessee’s national championship season.
