The
Arizona Cardinals will begin the final portion of the offseason program this week. Beginning Wednesday, they will start Phase 3 with the first week of voluntary OTAs (organized team activities). They have two weeks of OTAs followed by a week of mandatory minicamp and then they will break for summer until training camp. Based on NFL rules, they will report for training camp on July 25 and hold their first practice on July 26. Those dates have not yet been announced but will be sometime next month. But heading into OTAs, the Cardinals have two roster vacancies. They placed cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting on the non-football injury reserve, which ends his season, and released defensive lineman Ben Stille. We can expect the announcement of a couple of players by Wednesday morning. Here is a breakdown of the number of players on the roster by position.
