LAWRENCE — With a Big 12 Conference announcement Thursday, Kansas basketball’s 18-game league slate for the upcoming campaign became more clear.

Kansas will have home-and-home games during the 2025-26 season with Arizona, Iowa State and Kansas State. The Jayhawks’ home-only games will be against Baylor , BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, TCU and Utah. The Jayhawks’ away-only games will be against Arizona State , UCF, Colorado, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and West Virginia.

According to a KU release, every program has three Big 12 opponents it will face home-and-home. Outside of that, there are six teams a program will face at home and six it will face on the road. Which opponents were picked for where is something that was determined by balancing travel and competitiveness, and a full schedule is going to be released later on.

Kansas is coming off of a season in which it finished 21-13 overall and reached the quarterfinals of the Big 12 tournament. The Jayhawks also reached the round of 64 of the NCAA tournament. Overall, it was a disappointing campaign KU coach Bill Self and company will attempt to bounce back from.
