Grab your fishing rods, folks—Free Fishing Weekend is here!

Summer is here, and you know what that means? It's fishing time! Free Fishing Weekend in Colorado returns this summer, hosted by Colorado Parks & Wildlife (CPW).

"To give everyone an opportunity to get out and get some hits, Colorado Parks and Wildlife is inviting resident and nonresident anglers of all ages to participate in its annual Free Fishing Weekend on June 4 to 5," says CPW.

Now, while it's free to fish this weekend and a license is not required, other rules and regulations still apply. Anglers should review the ​Colorado Fishing Brochure​​​​​ for specific regulations and restrictions when fishing this weekend.
