Follow the yellow brick road ... to the movie theaters!

Judy Garland's 100th birthday is on June 10, 2022, and in honor of the late actress, Fathom Events is presenting a limited-time opportunity to see one of Garland's most beloved movies of all time, in theaters: The Wizard of Oz.

"In celebration of what would have been Judy Garland’s 100th birthday, join fans across the county for a special showing of 'The Wizard of Oz' featuring a rarely seen extended musical number," said a release from Fathom Events.

In more than 800 theaters nationwide, The Wizard of Oz will only be shown from June 5-6, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. each day.

Tickets for the Wizard of Oz: Judy Garland 100 Years Over The Rainbow are available on FathomEvents.com.

In 1989, The Wizard of Oz was selected by the Library of Congress as of the first 25 films to be preserved in the United States National Film Registry. It's considered "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."
