Denver Police say the city is on "crash alert" following last night's snowstorm.

The snowstorm that hit the Denver metro area last night is causing traffic issues this morning. According to the Denver Police Department, a crash involving 100 motorists occurred on Friday morning between W. 6th Ave. and N. Kalamath St. to N. Federal Blvd.

Delays are to be expected, says the department.

"Last night’s storm wasn’t the worst we’ve seen but it did manage to make roads across the metro area very slick," said Denver Police Department, adding that the city is on "crash alert."
