CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Plenty of district title games took place Saturday, March 1, with a few teams booking their places at sectionals.

In Chaffee, St. Vincent dominated the host Lady Devils 55-25 , with Allie Patrick scoring seven three-pointers along the way.

After Saturday’s win, Patrick spoke on the team’s further ambitions, with St. Vincent looking primed for a deep run in the state tournament.

“We’re definitely taking it game by game, because in the playoffs anything can happen,” Patrick said. “So, really just looking one step at a time, but we know that we’re prepared for a longer journey.”

St. Vincent will host St. Paul Lutheran in sectionals on Tuesday, March 4; the game will take place at nearby Perryville High School.
