BECKLEY W.Va. (WVVA) - The warm welcome at Beckley’s Chick-fil-A continues with two new owner-operators, both native West Virginians, who say they’re excited to serve the community and uphold the legacy of their predecessor. “The passion of mine was always with West Virginia to stay at home. These are my people,” said Chad Fisher. “My heart has always been wanting to serve the people of West Virginia, so being able to have the opportunity now to wrap my arms around the community, to really champion a lot of what Richard Jarrell did for this, for Chick-fil-A as a whole, as a brand, Beckley as a community, Raleigh County, West Virginia, being able to really champion that forward.” Fisher now leads the Harper Road location. A Putnam County native and Marshall University MBA graduate, he’s spent the last seven years working for Chick-fil-A and says he’s ready to deepen local ties. He says, “I’m going to be here every day. I’m just excited to get to know people. Anytime someone’s in, just make sure to grab me, swing in, say hello. I’m ready to just really wrap my arms around this community, see it grow, see it, prosper and just support them in any way I can to help serve the citizens here of Beckley and Raleigh County.” That’s not the only location celebrating a new operator. At the Beckley Galleria, another new face is also being welcomed — Kelsey Delgado, who brings years of experience and a strong sense of purpose to the team. “I would just like to say thank you. Thank you for welcoming myself as well as my husband into the Beckley community,” said Delgado. “Thank you for allowing us to have this opportunity and we’re excited to meet you, so come on in the restaurant, get to know us, you’ll be seeing myself and my husband around the dining room. Say hi, we’re excited to get to know you and most importantly, we are excited to serve you here in Beckley.” Originally from Charles Town, Delgado returned to West Virginia after working out of state. She’s led multiple Chick-fil-A grand openings and now focuses on delivering quality and care in every meal. She says, “For me, the small things matter. Making sure we’re putting those pickles on the sandwich perfectly every time, making sure we’re delivering every meal with the smile and with the my pleasure. That’s what my goals are right now, care for the team, care for the community, care for what we have the opportunity to do every day, and I think if we do those things and we do them very well, we’re going to be able to achieve some pretty big goals here.” Together, Fisher and Delgado bring a renewed energy to Chick-fil-A’s mission — to serve with purpose, one meal at a time.
