BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - The bats finally came alive in Aggieland again when No. 14 Texas A&M dominated New Mexico State 19-0 in 7 innings.

Ryan Prager dealt the first shutout for the season, striking out seven batters in seven innings.

All nine batters in the lineup recorded a hit as the Aggies had a season-high 18 hits.

Gavin Kash, Terrence Kiel II, and Hayden Schott all led the way with three hits each.

Kash hit his second home run of the season with a grand slam in the fourth inning and finished the night with 5 RBI.

Jace Laviolette had four RBI, including a two-run homer in the third inning. He now needs three more home runs to pass the all-time mark at Texas A&M.

Wyatt Hensler also had a two-run home run as part of a four-run frame for the Aggies in the second inning.

The Aggies will look to claim the series Saturday afternoon as game two is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.
