Sun, sand, surf…and snow? Later winter may not sound like the best time to take a beach vacation, but if you love to catch fish, it just might be the right time. As temperatures start to warm in the late winter on the Virginia coast, red drum, also known as redfish, start to move into the shallows. You can find schools of them marauding the back backs and salt creeks near Virginia Beach.
