Soon you'll be able to order a Double-Double, complete with fries and spread, in Castle Rock.

Castle Rock residents are excited about the In-N-Out Burger expanding into their town. It's too early to know exactly when the new restaurant will open, however.

The new location will be a convenient stop for shoppers browsing at the Outlets at Castle Rock. Individuals, groups of friends, and families will all enjoy resting their feet while eating a classic burger meal and sipping a soda.

“We are working on a site at 5050 Factory Shops Blvd. and we are very enthusiastic about the opportunity there,” said Carl Arena, the Vice President of Real Estate & Development of In-N-Out. “It is still very early in the development process. Once we begin construction on a new location, it usually takes us around five to six months to build a restaurant and open for business.”

In-N-Out Burger has a tight following of fans. Last year, when the first two locations opened in Aurora and Colorado Springs, the wait time exceeded 14 hours. 

According to an interview with The Denver Post, the chain also submitted plans for a location in Lakewood, Colorado. This is in addition to locations in Aurora, Lone Tree, and Colorado Springs. Construction plans are in full swing for additional restaurants in Denver, Fort Collins, Thornton, and Colorado Springs (second location). 

The first In-N-Out Burger opened in 1948 in Baldwin Park, California. It was the state's first drive-thru hamburger stand. In 1994, In-N-Out celebrated opening its 100th restaurant. Since that time, well over 300 restaurants have opened in California, Arizona, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Texas, and Colorado.
