Tempers flared and bullets flew at a Tampa construction site last week as an alleged dispute over unpaid wages turned violent. According to WFLA , on Saturday, Rajache Greenlee, 34, confronted his former employer with a handgun, pressing it to his head, and threatening his life. The round fired narrowly missed its mark, kicking off a series of dangerous acts that have led to Greenlee's arrest on multiple charges.

The confrontation escalated quickly, and, after the shot was fired, Greenlee proceeded to force entry into a residence at the site. He caused over $1,000 in damages and absconded with a nail gun, reports Tampa Free Press . A Pinellas County arrest was made yesterday, following a coordinated effort between the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

In shedding light on the severity of the altercation, Sheriff Chad Chronister was quoted by the Tampa Free Press , saying, “This was a reckless and violent outburst that could have ended in tragedy. Pointing a firearm at someone’s head and pulling the trigger over a financial dispute shows an alarming disregard for human life."

Charges against Greenlee include attempted second-degree murder and armed burglary, among others. The list of alleged crimes paints a picture of a man far beyond the edge of desperation, acts which, according to a statement obtained by the FOX 13 News , the authorities were swift to act upon in an attempt to bring justice and closure to the harrowing incident.

Greenlee is scheduled for a court appearance today where he will face the repercussions, of what many would describe as an extreme method to settle an employment dispute.
