Charges have been filed against two men in connection with the deaths of three Kansas City Chiefs fans in January 2024.

Jordan Willis and Ivory Carson are facing involuntary manslaughter and drug charges. Carson is in custody, and Willis is expected to surrender soon.

A medical examiner ruled the deaths of 38-year-old Ricky Johnson, 36-year-old Clayton McGeeney and 37-year-old David Harrington were due to fentanyl and cocaine toxicity. Their bodies were found in a backyard.

Investigators linked the drugs to Carson, who admitted to selling cocaine to the victims.

The cause fueled speculation for months because police said there were no signs of foul play.

McGeeney’s fiancé went to check on them two days after the game. She broke into the basement and saw a body outside, then called police, according to official accounts.

Officers then found the bodies of all three men outside the house.

The low temperature that night was around freezing.
