CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (AZFamily) — A seemingly routine traffic stop on I-10 south of Phoenix in April of 2005 quickly escalated into a heart-pounding moment for one Arizona DPS trooper, who came face to face with dozens of live alligators packed inside a trailer.

And it was all caught on video!

On April 17, 2005, Trooper Glenn Suavely discovered 32 alligators, some small enough for one person to carry to others weighing 400 pounds and measuring over 9 feet long! Let’s not forget the over 50 boa constrictors, three desert tortoises, chickens, rabbits, and even two dogs!
