Snow place like Colorado, amirite?

With cooler temps and the fall season quickly approaching, snow is imminent. Plus, with Colorado ski season right around the counter, we're expecting the snow to start falling—and soon. In fact, according to meteorologists, we could see some snowfall in the mountains this week.

On Tuesday night, we could see some flurries in Blanca Peak (Sangre de Cristos), Mount of the Holy Cross (Sawatch), and the Maroon Bells (Elks). These high elevations are predicted to see up to an inch of snow.

Then, on Wednesday, other Colorado mountains may see some more snow, including Longs Peak (Front Range) and Mount Sneffels included (San Juans).

By next week, it's being forecasted that more snow will hit the state next Tuesday night. The snow totals are expected to be in the range of a few inches and still limited to the state's highest points of elevation.
